The choice between two alternatives is stated succinctly on the following website: (1) East-West Religious unity OR (2) the Clash of Civilizations http://www.eppc.org/publications/xq/ASP/pubsID.300/qx/pubs_viewdetail.htm A “clash of civilizations ” or a “ Europe that breathes again with both its lungs?” A lot of the history of the twenty-first century—and most particularly the future of Russia, which can only pull out of its catastrophic social and economic nose-dive by closer cooperation with the West—will depend on whether Samuel Huntington or Karol Wojtyla is the more acute student of European cultural history. Huntington is the author of the Clash of Civilizations and Karol Wojtyla is Pope John Paul II. So, either Rome gets its long desired reunification with (control of?) the East - OR - we have the Clash of Civilizations described by Huntington . Hence, the "peace process" includes (for the Vatican) achieving Rome's long desired objective: preeminence over the Orthodox Church, Islam, and especially the Jerusalem Holy Sites. By virtue of posing the question in the form of two alternatives, one to be avoided (war), the other resulting in the preeminence of the Roman Catholic Church over the East, we see that the Islamic war with the West benefits the Roman Catholic Church. Once you understand this concept, you can begin to understand the "fornication with the kings of the earth " in the book of Revelation. In fact, Huntington goes out of his way to deny that which no one was asserting - "Defenders of Islam often allege that its Western critics believe there is a central, conspiratorial, directing force in Islam mobilizing it and coordinating its actions against the West and others. If the critics believe this, they are wrong." - Page 264 of the Clash of Civilizations Interesting, indeed. "Me thinks he doth protest too much [in advance]." If what Huntington is trying to deny is true and Islamic leadership undertakes (via the eventual antichrist and the ten-king confederation) the enforcement of "peace" (which is the equivalent to the destruction of terrorism, Hamas, Jihad, and warring against some of their own Islamic peoples), and the ten kings discover duplicity at the Vatican on this topic, will they not "hate the whore?" The vision of Nebuchadnezzar (interpreted by Daniel) of Rome dividing into 2 "legs" representing the East and West empires was history written in advance, which has already been fulfilled upon the division of Rome. The reunification process of the 2 "legs'" is a RELIGIOUS reunification ATTEMPT. In this sense only is the term "Revived Roman Empire" applicable. The real political endtime militarily powerful "beast" is specifically identified in the Bible . See also the study of the TEN Kings . This political empire is not said to reign over the entire world. [The expression "all the earth" is applied to Alexander the Great's empire in Dan 2:39, but no one maintains that Alexander ruled "all the earth." The expression refers to potential.] The entire world comes into play only when WORSHIP is enforced in Revelation 13. Prior to Rev 13, the whole world will have changed dramatically. 1) The Rapture will have happened removing many from the earth. 2) The Gog War of Ezek 38-39 will have destroyed nations and people 3) Two judgments will have killed 50% of the then remaining earth's population (Rev 6:8 and Rev 8:7-11) If 1/4 is destroyed in Rev 6:8, this leaves 3/4. If 1/3 of these dies, this represents another 1/4 of the original amount. 1/4+1/4=1/2 The religious movement will only take effect in the person of the antichrist and upon initiation and as a direct result of the actions of the FALSE PROPHET. Revelation 13:5 says that "he (false prophet) had power...and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." Therefore, the false prophet is in charge of WORSHIP ENFORCEMENT. It is said in Rev 13:7 (of the antichrist) that "it was GIVEN unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was GIVEN him over all kindreds, tongues, and nations." The Bible does say that mandatory universal worship of the IMAGE will be forced upon ALL men with death as the alternative for those who refuse . Right now, on the earth, is there a religious institution with a worldwide presence? Has this religious institution been historically connected with intelligence operations and politics? Read here and here for the answers. Is this religious institution wealthy, powerful, and influential in world power politics? Did this institution sign an agreement with Yassar Arafat and the Palestinian Liberation Organization c. 2000 (after the pope personally received Arafat)? Therefore, does this institution have an established relationship with the "palestinians?" Does this institution have as its objective East-West religious unification (the quote above from eppc.org says YES) with the institution itself being recognized as THE "church?" ( Malachi Martin says YES to the second part here ). Would the world not require an "enemy" to fight in order to justify the construction of a police state? Is such an enemy, terrorism , not already THE enemy? Are there not already emergent institutions to combat terrorism, such as Homeland Security, etc? Could these institutions (along with martial law) be used in the future to, at first, protect from terrorism, and later, to enforce religious conformity if they came into the hands of "angry" leadership? The Bible says this very thing will happen when religious worship is forced. Malachi Martin says that the Vatican is a "geopolitical power tool " (pg. 31) This means a WORLD political power TOOL. [For those who say that Babylon the Great is an "amalgam" of apostate denominations, when is the last time any of these denominations collectively or individually- a) signed an agreement with the PLO? b) has had an ambassador in virtually every country in the world? c) has been directly involved in the overthrow of communism in Poland? (Feb 28, 1992 cover story of Time Magazine ) d) has a Secretary of State? e) has personally received virtually EVERY major player in the Mideast endgame at her headquarters since 2000 (including the likes of Bush, Arafat, King Hussein; not to mention Bush #1, Ronald Reagan, Putin, and Gorbachev)? d) has actually been and IS a politically recognized nation ? e) has been the target of CIA and KGB power grabs? f) has been the actual hub of CIA intelligence for virtually the first 20 years of the Cold War?] Revelation 13:15 And he (false prophet) had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Perhaps, as the Clash of Civilizations unfolds ("that they should kill one another", Rev 6:4), control will be exerted over the population to force an "ethical" code. See the remarks of Prince Hassan from Jordan as an example of "ethical standards ." Remember, before this begins, all the then believers (from any culture or denomination) will have been removed from the earth. There will be true believers removed from the earth from all "religions" and there will many unbelievers left behind from all "religions." "Religion" saves NO ONE. At the instant following the rapture , NOT ONE person on earth will have the Holy Spirit in him. Men are naturally sinful. Without the Spirit of God restraining men, the worst of men will emerge. They already have "terrorism" to make them fearful. Those who become believers AFTER the rapture will do so as martyrs. Those who do not become believers will participate in the persecution of tribulations "saints" (through the enforcement of the "ethical" code.) John 16:2 ...yea, the time cometh that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. Please remember that those who will be persecuted are the ones who will BELIEVE the Bible true. This realization will hit the tribulation believers once the prophesied events (which they may have heard but had not believed) begin to unfold. The criticism of these people has already begun. What form does the criticism take? It is anti- "fundamentalism" and anti- "dispensationalism" and anti-"extremism". ["Dispensationalists" are those who believe in the LITERAL 7-year tribulation and the literal interpretation of the books of Daniel and Revelation. Some critics refer to the "dispensationalists" as strict chart followers, as having rigid viewpoints, etc. If you search the net, these critics are abundant.] In the book Clash of Civilizations the "Fundamental reformers" from among the Protestants are equated with the "fundamental reformers" of Islam thusly; p 111 "Lutheranism and Calvinism, Shi'ite and Sunni fundamentalism, and even parallels between John Calvin and the Ayatollah Khomeini ... the central Spirit of both the Reformation and the [Islamic] Resurgence is fundamental reform.." Events will soon occur in which "Reformational fundamentalists" will be blamed for performing "terrorism," maybe not on the scale of 9-11, but anti-social acts worthy of condemnation. People from weird religious cults will be identified as "christian fundamentalists" and they will commit kidnappings etc. The author's advice is do nothing except get right with the Lord. 03-16-2003 If you doubt that this can occur, consider that the intellectual elite discuss such topics in the public forum, because it has already happened. On a popular conservative radio talk show on May 18, 1993 the host said the media is viewing "us" as all being "religious weirdos ." The host did not want to discuss Waco [and David Koresh] at all on his show, saying it meant "nothing" to him. This conversation took place the day after an article appeared in the National Review . This might be a little easier to understand if one considers the message behind the article "A Brief History of the End of Time ," by Paul Boyer, in the National Review, of May 17, 1993. In this article, subtitled, "The American Roots of the Branch Davidians ," it is shown that Koreshism, when viewed broadly as the Biblical view of the Second Coming, is a basically held general belief in the US. The inference one can make here is that those that believe in the Biblical view of the Second Coming are potentially David Koresh type individuals. Since the Biblical view of the Second Coming is a basically held general belief in the US, then, the US citizenry are potentially David Koreshes. One wonders if the Islamic world is being told this same thing. One thing we know for sure is that the West is being told these types of things about Islam. The attitude toward "Koreshism" may explain what Clinton meant when he said, after Waco, that we need to be prepared to "do this again ." [I was shocked when he said this and even more shocked when no one objected]. In Carroll Quigley's 1000+ pages book Tragedy and Hope of 1966, Quigley purports to reveal the Hope that one day a World Order will be established. The Tragedy in Quigley's book is what happens to those who resist the World Order. During his speech accepting the nomination for the presidency at the Democratic Convention, Mr. Clinton expressed admiration for Carroll Quigley, his mentor and a professor of 35 years at Georgetown University, Mr. Clinton's alma mater. Apparently the elite are being educated to believe that the "fundamentalists" oppose the World Order and are willing to fight to stop it. This anti-fundamentalist education of the elite has been going on for decades and is a bold-faced lie. True believers in Christ are NOT of this world and have no desire regarding the "world" and its direction. Praise God for the New World Order because Christ is coming soon! Remember, if the Almighty allows a World Order, who are we to try and stop it? God is in charge. Our only task is believe God before it is too late. The sole purpose of this website is to warn people of the coming events in the hope that they accept Christ as their saviour. The elite can have the World and do anything they wish with it. We are NOT to oppose any World Order. The elite, too, will find out that their boss is really a fallen angel, Satan. Hopefully some of the elite will learn the truth before it is too late for them. " "War must never be allowed to divide world religions ," he told visiting Roman Catholic bishops from Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim country. The pope said good inter-religious relations were important "at this moment of heightened tension in the entire world community ." "Let us not permit a human tragedy to become a religious catastrophe ," he said. end 03-30-2003 FORNICATION People write and say that Babylon the Great is the city Babylon in Iraq or they say that Babylon the Great is the United States (because of its wealth and influence). My question is how can you commit "fornication" with the Kings of the earth if you ARE a king of the earth? Implicit in the idea of "fornication" is that a religious "woman" is prostituting herself for advantage with the Kings of the earth. The following is a list of verses, from the Book of Revelation, containing the word fornication. Please note the facts concerning this fornication . a) "wine" is associated with the fornication . b) "wrath" is associated with the fornication What is meant by this "wine"? "Wine" impairs your judgment. In Rev 17:2 it says the "inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication ." In Rev 14:8 it says that "she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." What is being said here is that ALL NATIONS have been deceived DELIBERATELY by the woman. Is this "wine" some religious doctrine? If fornication occurs when a religious "woman" has an illicit relation with a King, it is not a doctrinal matter. It is a political matter. To further her postion, she gains the ear of the King and influences him to do her bidding. Whatever her objective is (and self promotion is the root of it all), she can convince the King to pursue her objective. She can hire scholars, professors, and think-tanks to convince the King and "the inhabitants of the earth" that a thing is true. For example, she can convince the King her enemies are harming the King and his subjects. She can hire politicians that support her causes and place them in the court of the King. The Bible says she has the financial means to do this - "the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies." It has been said (by Will Rogers) that we have the best politicians money can buy. [ For example, the "merchants " can destroy the industrial capacity of the United States by moving the factories overseas and call it patriotic while they are doing it (with the assistance of the Congress). My personal hope is not in the industrial capacity of the United States, but in the Lord Jesus Christ. Politicians can have a virtually completely open immigration policy while declaring "orange terrorist alerts".] What is meant by the "wrath"? Apparently, the woman is angry . She is angry at her enemies. The phrase "wine of her wrath " is used to show that she gives the inhabitants of the earth "wine" BECAUSE she is angry. An entire book was published expressing this "anger" toward the capitalist west (and the "archvillain of all human history", particularly, the United States) and the former Soviet Union. The book shows how the papacy seeks primacy over these two. Read quotes from the book here . If you read the following verses carefully, you can see a progression. Omit 14:8 from the chronology because it is announcing in advance the eventual destruction of Babylon the Great. Hence, it is not chronological. Revelation 17:2 says "wine" and Rev 18:3 says "wine of the wrath." Revelation 17 is the discussion of the IDENTITY of the woman (ending with the phrase "that great city ") and Revelation 18 is discussing the judgment of the woman. The judgment occurs in conjunction with the phrase "wrath." What begins with the "wine of her fornication " progresses to and ends with the "wine of the wrath of her fornication." Revelation 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication . Revelation 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication . Revelation 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: Revelation 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication , and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. Revelation 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Revelation 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. BLASPHEMY From the Merriam-Webster dictionary we find the definition of the word blasphemy. blasphemy- 1 a : the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God b : the act of claiming the attributes of deity One of the attributes of deity is authority and for those of us who are "dust" there is no more important issue than authority. King Saul will tell you that authority is more important than religion. King Saul lost his throne when he deemed religious sacrifice to God more important than the authority of God. From the now deceased Malachi Martin's book (for a more detailed view of quotes from the book ), The Keys of this Blood, Struggle for World Dominion... we read According to Martin, a Jesuit and former professor at the Pontifical Bible Institute in Rome, John Paul II does or should- "In ALL phases of education, in ALL aspects of moral behavior, and in ALL questions about the ultimate truths undergirding the life and death of every human being, this man claims for his papal persona the right, the privilege, the duty, and the due authority to stand as JUDGE. None of the Internationalist-Transnationalist ideals are outside that claim or exempt from that judgment" (* emphasis added). (p. 345) Martin said - duty, and the due authority to stand as JUDGE Martin says John Paul II - "will be crowned with a success never registered in the life of any preceding Pope ... in effect, in the sight of all nations, his AUTHORITY ... will be declared in the skies ABOVE EVERY NATION.. ." (* emphasis added). (p. 464-465) Further, Martin says- "The other two major contenders in the millennium endgame will be ELIMINATED " (* emphasis added). (p. 657) According to Martin the Pope believes that - "[He] is waiting. God must first intervene, before John Paul's major ministry to all men can start." (p. 656) "... the tribulations will follow..." (p. 657) "he cannot but emerge as the most powerful man alive in his time " (p. 483) If the Pope (or his successor) believes he is to become "the most powerful man alive in his time", he? sure has picked an interesting time to become such a man. The point being made here is that the "beast" (the political endtime entity) has seven heads and ten horns and it has the name of blasphemy on it. To see documentation on who the ten horns are read this study . The ten horns are ten kings who rise in the area of Iraq/Jordan and surrounding nations. Look carefully at what is being said- "upon his heads the name of blasphemy ." In other words the blasphemy originates on the heads, not with the ten kings, the horns . This is true upon the initial appearance of the beast in Revelation 13:1. Later, the blasphemy on the heads has spread so that the whole beast is "full of names of blasphemy ." Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (Rev 13:1 shows us that blasphemy originates with the seven heads. At this time it has only ONE name.) Revelation 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (Rev 13:6 shows that the antichrist himself takes up the blasphemy theme.) Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy , having seven heads and ten horns. (Rev 17:3 shows us that the entire beast becomes full of names of blasphemy making more than ONE name of blasphemy. Because the "woman " "sitteth upon many waters" (Rev 17:1) which represent "peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues"(Rev 17:15), she has the power to spread and enforce the blasphemy of the pronouncements of the antichrist on a worldwide basis. Regardless of the precise meaning of the seven heads (and there are numerous interpretations for this), we know that they are the sphere of influence of the "woman", not the ten kings because this is expressly stated in Rev 17:9. Revelation 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. When John on the isle of Patmos (c. 90AD) wrote Rev 17:18, that great city was unquestionably Rome. Revelation 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth . Who else is decked in scarlet, precious stones, and is drunk with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus that is also a great city? The Vatican has had a history of switching sides in conflicts when it sees that its interests can be better served. The rise of antichrist AMONG the TEN KINGS and the TEN KINGS themselves will be no exception for the "woman." The following discussion describes the POLITICAL end times "beast". The above discussion was related to the role of the Vatican as Babylon the Great. The Prophecy from Daniel Daniel did not even know what the dream of Nebuchadnezzar was, but, he was asked to interpret the dream. After Daniel asked the Lord and received his answer, he told Nebuchadnezzar what his dream was: Daniel 2:31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. Daniel 2:32 This image's head was of fine gold , his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass , Daniel 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Daniel 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Daniel 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. Daniel 2:36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. Daniel now interprets the dream which is in effect a history of the Gentile world. The Head is the Kingdom of BABYLON Daniel 2:37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. Daniel 2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. The 2nd Kingdom (ARMS) is the MEDIA-PERSIA kingdom that conquered Babylon Daniel 2:39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, ... The 3rd Kingdom (BELLY) is The Grecian of Alexander the Great who conquered the Media-Persia ...and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. The 4th Kingdom (LEGS) is the Roman Empire Daniel 2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. --- THE LAST DAYS FORM of the So-Called Roman Empire It will actually be more Grecian than Roman . Daniel 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands [Jesus Christ] , and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold ; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. Since Christ destroys ALL THESE KINGDOMS at His Coming, does this not include the AREAS of the Kingdoms - Babylon, Media-Persia, Grecian, and the Ten-King Confederacy? In the course of their conversations, the parties considered the matters at issue in relations between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church, especially in Russia and in Ukraine. In particular, Cardinal Kasper confirmed that the Holy See had received the written response of the Russian Orthodox Church on the possible establishment of a Greek-Catholic Patriarchate in Ukraine, as well as the responses of all the local Orthodox Churches on this question. Cardinal Kasper indicated that the unanimous position of all the Orthodox Churches is being given serious consideration by the authorities of the Catholic Church. The Catholic party assured the Orthodox party that it is the wish of the Holy See to maintain and further strengthen positive relations with the Orthodox Churches. Both sides agreed that for the solution of specific issues in relations between the Russian Orthodox and the Roman Catholic Churches a joint working group should be set up, composed of representatives of both Churches who will examine these questions and make proposals for their solution. Since the year 1054 AD (the year both the Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church declared themselves the sole universal church), Rome has sought to exert control over the East. The "visit" described below demonstrates the King's submission to the Vatican's authority. Is it possible that this relationship could lead to the rise of the false prophet? Pope Benedict XVI met Monday with Jordan's King Abdullah II, who called the talks a positive step in developing honest dialogue between the Islamic world and the West. Abdullah said in an opinion piece published Monday in the Corriere della Sera newspaper that his audience with the pope was part of the effort to build a dialogue between Islam and the West and that it "will take forward a positive and respectful dialogue between our two faiths." Benedict has echoed similar themes in past comments about terrorism and relations with Muslims, the AP says. Abdullah and his wife, Queen Rania, met with the pope at the papal summer residence in Castel Gandolfo, south of Rome. In his editorial, Abdullah called on the international community to reject attempts by extremists to create a clash of civilizations between Islam and the West. In short, they have become a threat to public security". As the statement reveals one of the most secret aspects of the machinations against the peaceful coexistence of Muslims and Christians in Jordan, namely the hypocritical attitude of the Evangelical Churches, we find it necessary to re-publish here the denunciation of these pseudo-Christian acts that target the world peace, as they contribute only to further radicalizing the already explosive situation in the Middle East.
